Courtesy Subaru of Chico Gives Back to Cancer Patients

Paradise, Calif.- Today in Paradise, Courtesy Subaru of Chico gave the gift of support to local cancer patients. The partnership between the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the dealership is becoming an annual tradition. This year, the auto-dealer donated blankets for chemo patients and arts-and-craft kits to keep children occupied during the process. According to Courtesy Subaru, this donation is a promise from the company to keep making a positive impact in the community. "We immediately opted in thinking this was a good thing to do, it's something that it small but I think is still meaningful, so we were very happy to do so," said Diane Pajouh, co-owner of Courtesy Subaru in Chico. There are enough blankets and art kits for each of the more than 30 patients at the Feather River Cancer Center in Paradise to receive one. "This is huge to my patients, absolutely huge, because they're not alone. It's kind of like a semblance of somebody's arms around you, out there in the community, helping you make the journey," said Kevin Fullerton, Director at the Feather River Cancer Center. Read more
